On Tuesday at lunchtime, while waiting to cross 41st at Broadway, I looked up and this is what I saw. Other things I noticed: Ballet flats everywhere. Calorie counts of baked goods posted at Starbucks. One scone = 420 calories. (It’s part of Mayor Bloomberg’s War Against Trans Fats. Every city eatery will have to post their trans fats counts by July.) The New York Times’ new eco-friendly, “smart” building where window shades move according to the sun’s position and feature writers share space with news reporters. It’s smart!
